Behind the Lens...

Hi, welcome to my website! Who is Photo by Kay? Well, my name is Kaylee Vaughan and I have been taking pictures for four years.  I like to describe my photography upbringing as a beautiful accident.  I got a camera my sophomore year of high school just for fun.  Little did I know a few weeks later I would be going to take baseball pictures.  From there it was all history.  I fell in love with taking baseball pictures and became passionate about making people happy by giving them their photos.  

Some things you may not know about me...
1. I grew up in a big football-loving family, but I couldn't take football photos due to cheering all my life (so I actually know the most about football vs other sports).

2.  My family is all super close, and I am so grateful to have them.  When others weren't always so supportive of my business, they always were, and they have always been my rock through everything. 

3. I'm from a small town and graduated with a class of 60. I had an awful high school experience, which is a big part of why I started PBK.  

4. I get in a "zone" when I take pictures, and I kind of forget there is a world around me.

5. My dream/future goal is to work for the MLB.
